How do you get to Fushimi Inari from Kyoto Station?
Take the JR Nara Line to JR Inari Station: about 5 minutes, 2 stops, 150 yen. The big torii is right in front of the station exit.

Coming from Shijo, Gion or Kawaramachi?
Take the Keihan Main Line from Gion-Shijo Station to Fushimi-Inari Station, then walk about 5 minutes east to the shrine. Not every train stops at Fushimi-Inari, so check before you board.
